The Arenal Observatory Lodge in Costa Rica

The Arenal Observatory Lodge is a beautiful resort that boasts incredible views of the Arenal Volcano and rainforest. The hotel also offers a wide array of activities that will allow guests to experience the beauty of Costa Rica first hand. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to please, with most employees having been working there for over 10 years. The hotel has 48 rooms in four separate buildings spread throughout the property. All rooms are extremely comfortable and most have volcano views. The rooms range in size from standard suites to larger chalets. There are even five rooms that are fully equipped for disabled travelers, with bathrooms, hallways, and parking areas being designed accordingly.

In addition to the amazing view of the volcano, guests can enjoy a number of other natural sights from the property’s trails that run through the rainforest. During a walk along the trails, visitors can see a variety of wildlife such as monkeys, birds, and sloths in their natural habitats. The trails are well-maintained and are easy to navigate, allowing visitors of all skill levels to enjoy a fun and relaxing walk in nature.

Those that are looking for a more active way to spend their time at the resort can head over to the gym, where they can use the treadmills, elliptical machines, and exercise bike. There is also a pool, steam room, and Jacuzzi that are open to the public for guests to enjoy.
